The National Insurance Conference of Canada Selects WICC as its Charity of Choice

The National Insurance Conference of Canada (NICC) and the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC Ontario and WICC Quebec) announced that WICC will be the official charity of the upcoming NICC conference to be held at the Hilton Lac-Leamy Hotel from October 1 to October 3, 2008 in Gatineau, Quebec. As part of this partnership:
�� WICC will hold a fundraising silent auction at the NICC.
�� NICC will make a donation to WICC for every speaker and moderator at the
conference.
�� WICCs honorary chairman, Claude Dussault, will deliver an address to conference delegates about WICCs important activities in the area of cancer research.
Everyone has been touched in some way by the scourge of cancer. comments Joel Baker, President and CEO of the NICC, The good news is that increasingly people are recovering from the disease thanks to advances in clinical research made possible by funding from important charities such as WICC. As the NICC attracts leaders of Canadas insurance industry it is fitting that we have chosen to support WICC, one of the industrys premier causes. We are excited that the NICC can do its part to help WICC in the battle against cancer added Baker.
