After many years of fruitful collaboration, the WICC Chapters in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec celebrated a momentous occasion last month with the signing of the WICC National Charter. This important legal document represents a huge milestone in WICC's history and paves the way for a strong and stable future for WICC. "This was an essential step for WICC." says Nancy Ng, of PPG Canada and Chair of Chapter Relations for WICC Ontario, "It unifies our various chapters so that we are all operating from the same play-book in the ways that are critically important to WICC's long-term success but retains the flavour and characteristics that make each of our Chapters unique." Ng commented further on the importance of the Charter stating, "For more than a decade, WICC has united the insurance industry with its events and has become a trusted charity of choice for many of its constituents raising over $4,000,000 for cancer research nationally. We crafted and signed this Charter because we want to ensure we're here for decades to come."
